Feed my Sheep Thanksgiving

Feed my Sheep in Gulfport may be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but that does not mean they aren’t providing the homeless with a proper Turkey Day meal.
They are offering a free Thanksgiving meal to anyone today and tomorrow from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Today, they had around 400 people come through and enjoy the home cooked meal. They also had already given out more than 350 to-go boxes to those who could not make it to the meal.
Volunteers like Patricia Hebert are happy to be able to give a hot meal to someone who otherwise might not be fed. “It is very important for us to come here today and serve the meal to the people that come here. They have a sense of family and they feel as though they are sitting down with friends and family, people who really care about them and they are very grateful and very thankful for the life they have.”
Feed my Sheep officials tell News 25 that this meal would not be possible without the volunteers and donations.
