Emergency children’s center gets a makeover

The Harrison County Emergency Children’s Shelter got a little makeover today all thanks to Keller Williams Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Each year, worldwide, the real estate franchise participates in Red Day, a day where volunteers with Keller Williams donate their time giving back to the local community. Red stands for ‘renew, energize, and donate.’

That’s exactly what they did with the children’s shelter. The volunteers were cleaning, painting, building shelves for the center that houses local children in need. Team Leader Kaitlyn Brown said, “Red Day is just something we do as a company to give back to the community every year. One of our founding members of our company, Moe Anderson, her birthday is in May and this is what she likes for us to do every year in honor of her birthday. It’s just a way for our company to give back.”

More than 178,000 Keller Williams associates worldwide participated in Red Day.
