Early holiday shopping at Best Buy

Some choose Turkey on Thanksgiving Day while others opt out for some shopping.
Many people were already camping out Thursday to make sure they’ll be in on the sweet deals. At about 2 p.m. yesterday, a line wrapped around Best Buy with eager shoppers, many of them expecting to get their hands on some discounted TVs.
News 25 saw people bundled up in coats and even children waiting in the long line. Dan Creppel was the lucky man sitting first in line. He tells News 25 he’s been camped out since 2:45 a.m. on Thursday. “I haven’t had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We decided to camp out. We actually had Whataburger for Thanksgiving lunch. So, that’s a first for me for Thanksgiving.”
Creppel says it’s his first time camping out overnight. He says after he’s done at Best Buy he will definitely hit another store for some more shopping. Best Buy doors opened at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.
