Dino’s Gifts owner arrested

The charges against the two people accused of the armed robbery of Dino’s Gifts in St. Martin on June 3rd have been dropped.
The store owner, Luis Diaz, is now charged in the case. Sheriff Mike Ezell says investigators determined Diaz gave false information of an armed robbery. The sheriff tells News 25 Diaz was stabbed during an altercation over money with his estranged wife, Erin Diaz.
Luis Diaz is charged with filing a false police report and is being held on a $6,000 bond.
