Cruisin’ the Coast is coming back to Waveland
After more than a decade, Cruisin’ the Coast is making its way back to the Hospitality City.
The City of Waveland has been left off the list of Cruisin’ activities since 2006, but that’s no longer the case.
The Hot Rods and Hospitality event will take place on Coleman Avenue near city hall.
Waveland hosting an event is picture perfect because Cruisers can come straight from the block party in Biloxi, have lunch in Waveland, and then continue through to Diamondhead’s event that afternoon.
Waveland Mayor Jay Trapani says he was approached by Cruisin’ the Coast CEO Woody Bailey about being a host, right after he won the primary election. “It means a lot, you know, I’ve only been in office for six weeks, and so to be able to bring an event like this back to Waveland is something people have wanted. So it’s been since 2006, the last event.”
Hot Rods and Hospitality will take place on Wednesday, October 4th from 10 to 2 p.m.
