Wednesday, Moss Point 2nd graders enjoyed the beautiful weather while learning about the wildlife at one Coast national wildlife refuge, thanks to a sponsorship by Mississippi Power.
They will be donating a total of $460,000 to 18 different charity organizations along the Coast.
A Biloxi principal is one of nine in the country receiving national recognition.
Attendees were able to meet with over 50 different employers face to face.
Thursday evening, the City of Moss Point will be hosting their State of the City Address.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation (M.D.O.T.) has already responded to calls for safer roads at the intersection of Big John Road and Highway 67 in D'Iberville.
