Corks and Cleaver Opening in Downtown Gulfport
The variety for fine dining options in downtown Gulfport is about to get wider. A new restaurant Corks and Cleaver is set to open October 20th.
It’s a wine bistro that will offer 65 different wines by the glass, 35 beers, and over 40 menu items that pair specifically well with wine. Owner and award winning chef David Dickensauge is from Gulfport.
Dickensauge has traveled and worked all over the southeast, but now he’s excited to bring his food home to the people of the Gulf Coast. “I do have a place in Baton Rouge. I have one in New Orleans but this is home. It feels good to represent the Mississippi Gulf Coast and be in the Mississippi Gulf Coast doing it.”
Until their opening on October 20th, the staff at Corks and Cleaver continues to work on putting the finishes touches together.
