City of Gautier warning residents of email scam

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Gautier is warning against email impersonation happening.

Fraudulent emails are impersonating city departments and staff, mainly the planning department.

The emails ask residents to click a link to pay fees. City officials warn that Gautier does not solicit wire payments.

The email domain that the city uses is @gautier-ms.gov. If you receive an email from anyone other than that one, delete the email immediately.
