City of Biloxi seeking proposals to remove structures

There are a few days left for those who may seek interest in demolishing or moving six structures on Division Street in Biloxi.

The City of Biloxi seeks proposals for five houses and one office building. The structures were acquired by the city as part of the commercial corridor that is being created between I-110 and the new Keesler gate on Division Street.

You do not have to bid on all six structures in order to put in a proposal to demolish or to purchase and relocate the properties. Cecilia Dobbs-Walton with the City of Biloxi said, “What the City of Biloxi would like to see is someone come in, purchase the home, and move it to another location, possibly in Biloxi. A lot of these structures are old Biloxi structures. So, the city would like to see those structures still part of the community.”

September 11th is the last day for proposals.
