‘Christmas in the Wild’ at Wild Acres

The Wild Acres Animal Experience is set to kick off the Christmas season with a new event that combines holiday cheer with exotic animals.

Christmas in the Wild kicks off this Friday and runs on select dates through December 22nd from 6 to 9 p.m.

Visitors to the experience will get to see a colorful light display and experience the petting zoo, along with the chance to see sloths, African crested porcupines, and alpacas and emus.

The crew of Wild Acres says they expect big things for their first Christmas event after doing successful Halloween-themed experiences in the past. Cody Breland with Wild Acres said, “It was very intimidating, you know, cause we put so much into the Halloween event over the past few years, and just the thought of having to basically put just as much effort into another event really scared us, but you know, honestly, it’s coming along and it’s even bigger than we could have imagined.”

Tickets for Christmas in the Wild must be purchased in advance. You can purchase yours and find out more information on the event at wildacresms.square.site.
