Char Bar opens in downtown Gulfport
Downtown Gulfport continues to grow and today one more unique restaurant opened in the area.
Today is the grand opening of the Char Bar. This brand new restaurant and bar is located at 1307 25th Avenue in downtown Gulfport.
The restaurant is modeled after an 1870s saloon and they serve a menu based around a char grill. Char Bar owner Gary Barnette said, “Well, I think everything is happening in downtown Gulfport. You’ve got an aquarium. You got a new hotel. You have other people opening restaurants around the corner. Hopefully we create a busy hub of entertainment and fine dining, casual dining, bars, saloons, everything.”
If you don’t have time to make it tonight, the restaurant will be open Tuesday through Saturday.
