CASA on the Coast BBQ Fundraiser

The CASA programs of Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson County teamed up with the Saints of the Apocalypse Biker Club to cook for a good cause.

The biker club cooked more than 160 pork butts for the fundraiser and all proceeds went to abused and neglected children on the Coast.

Those interested in helping donated $35 or more to CASA to pre-order the BBQ. Club Treasure Terry Hudson tells News 25 they enjoy partnering and removing the stigma that comes with biker clubs. “We are mainly a law enforcement, military, and first responder group. We feel this is how we can give back to our community.”

Fundraiser developer Jeannie Herrin said, “And we’re so glad that they’ve chose Coast CASA’s to give their time and to do this wonderful fundraiser for us.”
