Cameron May Refuses Extradition

The man accused of brutally raping an Ocean Springs woman and beating her at an apartment complex says he does not want to be extradited back to Mississippi.
Cameron May was arrested last week in Okaloosa County, Florida. The Jackson County District Attorney’s office is now requesting a warrant to bring him back to Ocean Springs.
Jackson County District Attorney Tony Lawrence tells News 25 that these types of objections to being extradited are fairly normal. Lawrence requested a governor’s warrant. He expects May back in Mississippi once processing is complete.
News 25 will keep you updated with May’s extradition as details become available.
