Blue Marlin restaurant at Centennial Plaza reopening in March

After closing their doors for almost two years, the Blue Marlin is reopening in March.

The beachfront restaurant at Centennial Plaza in Gulfport closed during COVID due to staffing shortages.

They’ve used the downtime to rebrand the restaurant, transforming from fine dining to a more causal family-friendly atmosphere.

The Blue Marlin will be bringing back some of their favorites from the old menu while also introducing some new coastal flavors. Food and Beverage Manager Clint Taylor said, “Some new things, some new signature things we’re really excited about. We’re doing a Barq’s root beer bread pudding ala mode. We have another secret dessert that pays tribute to a great old Coast restaurant. I’m not going to talk about it today, but we’ll unveil it when we open.”

The Blue Marlin reopens Thursday March 3rd and will be celebrating their return with a party in the park on Saturday, March 12th.

All are invited to listen to live music performed by contestants from the Voice and to taste samples from the new updated menu.
