Biloxi Shuckers preparing for 2021 season

Batter up! The 2021 Biloxi Shuckers season is on.

The Shuckers’ season was canceled last year to keep players and fans safe from COVID-19. However, this year, the Shuckers are expected to play a full season of baseball. Games are planned to start in April.

Fans will be allowed to watch the games and cheer on their favorite Shuckers player at MGM Park in Biloxi, but it’s unclear how many fans will be allowed to attend games.

All safety precautions and CDC guidelines will be strictly followed. Biloxi Shuckers General Manager Hunter Reed said, “We’re looking forward to getting back to baseball after missing out on last year obviously. So, we’re fully expecting to have a full season of baseball here at MGM Park with the Shuckers here. So, we’re really looking forward to it. It’s going to be a lot of fun, lot of promotions, lot of good baseball on the field. Our relationship with the Brewers we know that we’ve had a competitive team here the last five years. So, we really look forward to having that back this year.”

Shuck Nation memberships are still available for fans at MiLB.com.
