Biloxi Community Festival against Crime

You’ll see plenty of law enforcement at the Point Cadet Plaza on Saturday, but not to worry, it’s all part of the annual Biloxi Community Festival against Crime.

This event will feature activities for the whole family including games, door prizes, and free food. You will also have the opportunity to watch displays and demonstrations from police K9s, the SWAT team, and the Bomb Squad.

The Biloxi Police Department says the best part about this festival is that the community will have the chance to interact one-on-one with law enforcement officials. Sgt. Joey Payne said, “We will have police officers out there so people can come out and meet our police officers and see the neat toys that we use. If they have any questions about the way that we do things this will be the best place and time to come out and sit down in a non-stressful situation and ask those questions.”

The festival will take place this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Point Cadet Plaza.
