Benefit concert at St. Peter’s by the Sea

Father Sanders from St. Peter’s by the Sea Episcopal Church in Gulfport started making trips to Kasese, Uganda five years ago.
When he saw the poverty and hard ships that one certain school was having while trying to educate their children, he knew he had to help. Sanders and his congregation started raising funds and sending anything they could back to help the school.
Saturday, students of the church’s organ player decided to give back to the school by raising funds at their piano recital. “They used to not have electricity or windows and now they have WiFi. We have come a long way in the five or six years that we have been going over there. It’s gotten pretty incredible. We went from that to now we are Facebook friends with the faculty. Maybe that’s a good thing. I am not really sure, but it’s really cool,” said Father Sanders.
If you want to donate to the fund contact St. Peter’s by the Sea Episcopal Church.
