Powerball jackpot on the rise

No one matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s drawing. The next drawing is tonight (11/2).

The cash option would be about $340 million. After a 24 percent federal tax, that amount would decrease to about $258 million.

The odds of winning the jackpot are about 1 in 292 million.
