Below freezing wind chill temperatures Wednesday morning

Overnight: A freeze warning is in effect for our viewing area from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday morning. Expect lows to drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s inland and into the lower to middle 30s along the coast. Wind chill temperatures will be in the lower 20s inland (with a few spots in the upper teens) and middle to upper 20s along the coast. A Gale Warning is also in effect overnight, with north winds at 30 to 35 knots, gusting to 50s knots and seas around 5 to 7 feet.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs eventually climbing into the middle 50s. Expect winds from the northeast at 10 to 20 mph, becoming lighter by the afternoon. A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect for much of the day.

Thursday: Temperatures drop near freezing during the morning under mostly clear skies. Expect highs to climb into the lower to middle 60s, with a slight chance for rain overnight.

Friday: Morning lows only fall into the lower to middle 50s under mostly cloudy skies. Highs warm into the lower to middle 70s. Scattered rain will be possible throughout the day.

Saturday/Sunday: Rain chances linger into the weekend, with highs in the middle 70s.
