Bedroom Fire Destroys Trailer in Long Beach

A Long Beach family is in search of a new home after a fire destroys their trailer. The structure fire happened near Thompson Road around 12:30 this afternoon.
County fire officials were able to keep the flames contained to the single bedroom where the fire started. The majority of the house still suffers from extreme smoke damage. No one was injured during the incident. Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said, “We are investigating the cause of the fire. We don’t have a cause at this time. There was only one person home at the time. There are several people that live here, but they will not be able to stay in the home due to the damage.”
