Assistance still available for flood victims in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- If you were impacted by last week’s flooding in Harrison County, help is still available.

The Red Cross is asking anyone who needs assistance to call 1-800-Red Cross to complete a needs assessment. You’ll need to follow the prompts for Tropical Storm Arthur in Mississippi.

Local organizations, including the Harrison County long-term recovery committee and the Harrison County Advocacy Center, are also providing assistance.

Donations are still needed, including bottled water, cleaning supplies, personal care items, work gloves, and adult socks.

Donation drop off sites are open at the Salvation Army Family Store in Gulfport and the Salvation Army Center in Biloxi.
