Arrests Made in Pascagoula Bank Robbery

Two Gautier teenagers have been arrested and are facing charges in connection with a weekend robbery at a Pascagoula bank.
Police say the two teens captured in surveillance video of Saturday’s robbery at Wood Forest Bank in the Pascagoula Wal-Mart are 14 and 16-year-old high school students whose names are being withheld because of their age.
Authorities arrested the two teens yesterday afternoon after executing a search warrant and recovering some of the bank’s stolen cash and a handgun they say was used in the robbery. Lieutenant Doug Adams with Pascagoula PD said, “It just shows the teamwork between the community and law enforcement. We wrapped this up in about 48 hours thanks to the help of social media and the community. We couldn’t have done it without the community’s teamwork.”
The two suspects have been turned over to the Jackson County Youth Court.
