Arrest Made In Gulfport Shooting
On November 19, 2015, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 28 year old Decarlos Neshunn Holloway, of Gulfport, on the charge of Drive By Shooting.
On November 19, 2015 at approximately 12:37 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department received a call of shots fired in the 4600 block of Old Pass Road. Shortly after, updated information was received of a gunshot victim arriving at an area hospital. Responding officers later located a crime scene in the parking lot of Brother’s Mini Mart located 4613 Old Pass Road.
Further investigation revealed that the adult male victim was standing in the business parking lot when Hollow approached the area in a described vehicle. At that time, Holloway brandished an unknown caliber firearm and fired shots striking the victim multiple times. Afterward, Holloway fled the area westbound on Old Pass Road. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a private vehicle.
During a follow investigation, Holloway was developed as the suspect involved. Based on the information received, a warrant for Holloway’s arrest on the charge of drive by shooting. After information was received by the Gulfport Police Detective Division, Holloway was later located and arrested at a residence in Moss Point.
After booking and other procedures, Holloway was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility to be held in lieu of an $100,000.00 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Louise D. Ladner. Holloway was also off bonded from a previous felony arrest on drug related charges.
The victim’s condition was listed as stable. This investigation is ongoing.
