Annual wreath laying in Biloxi

Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is now just around the corner for people to begin making plans with the families around the tree while others spend theirs at the grave site visiting their loved ones.
The annual Laying of the Wreaths at the Biloxi National Cemetery will be next Friday. They’re also expanding the ceremonial event into Saturday to not only cover the Biloxi Cemetery, but also they will now be laying wreaths at the Beauvoir.
Kevin Cuttill with Crusaders for Veterans tells News 25 they will need more volunteers to come out and help fluff and lay wreaths on each grave. “BNC, we have over 20,000 wreaths being laid. We’ve got all 780 for the Beauvoir. So, everybody’s getting covered. It’s a great feeling to get them all going and stuff. So, just come out and help we’re looking for volunteers for everything.”
Volunteers are asked to come help out on Friday at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 8 a.m. to unload and place the wreaths at 9 a.m. The event will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
