Aggravated Assault Suspect on the Loose

The Ocean Springs police department is still searching for the suspect wanted for the brutal aggravate assault of an ocean springs woman police named 24 year old Cameron Dwayne may as the suspect who I still on the loose and considered armed and dangerous. He is listed as possibly operating a white 2004 Chevrolet Suburban with the Mississippi tag number HIL460. The ocean springs police department along with the help of U.S. Marshalls, FBI Safe Street, Biloxi police department and Gulfport police department, is actively searching for the suspect.

Cameron D. May wanted in Ocean Springs now in Custody

Detective Sergeant Morvant of the Criminal Investigation Division, through his investigation learned that Cameron D. May a wanted fugitive from the City of Ocean Springs was possibly in the Destin Florida area.  He contacted the authorities in Destin on the morning of Sept 21 2015 and at 12:05pm was notified by that agency that Cameron D. May was in custody.  Cameron D. May was picked up in at the Goodwill Store on Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL. Without incident.  He is currently in the Okaloosa County Jail awaiting an extradition hearing.  This case is still under investigation and the City of Ocean Springs Police Department would like to thank the Okaloosa Sheriff department for its assistance along with the Biloxi, Gulfport, Pascagoula Police Departments, the U.S. Marshalls,  FBI Safe streets Task Force and South Mississippi Enforcement Team.
