7/11 – Rob Knight’s “TROPICAL WATCH” Morning Forecast

The main forecast issue will be timing of convective bands associated with Potential Tropical Cyclone 2. Unfortunately, even away from those bands, convection will still be possible, with t-storms in the vicinity becoming more widespread than usual. As this system becomes more organized, winds are expected to increase, and wind gusts with a crosswind component will likely begin to cause issues through the weekend.
