09/06 Ryan’s “Drier Tuesday Evening” Forecast

It was a much drier Tuesday evening than it was a Tuesday morning/afternoon, and that trend will continue throughout the rest of the week. High pressure continues to slide in from the East, bringing cooler/drier air and much clearer skies. Expect sunny days with temperatures starting near 89, and slowly increasing into the low 90s by the weekend. At that point, a cloud cover will begin to thicken an our “normal” pattern of hot and humid days with afternoon showers will return.

The tropics have been a bit quite, but a new area of disturbed weather has just moved of the West Coast of Africa and into the Atlantic. This system will very likely become the next Atlantic system, so we’ll continue to watch it’s development as it moves WNW towards the Caribbean.
