Gifted students honored with proclamation at Gulfport City Council meeting
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Students from the Harrison County School District were honored at Tuesday’s Gulfport City Council meeting.
At the meeting, Mayor Hugh Keating declared November 1 through the 7 as Gifted Students Week.
Journey students from Saucier Elementary and Orange Grove Elementary represented the entire school district. Several teachers and district staff also attended.
