Ryan’s “Sunny Wednesday” Forecast

We’ve seen plenty of blue skies so far on this very sunny Wednesday, and while the Sun will eventually go down, we’ll see gradually warmer temperatures well into next week. Tonight though, you can expect another cooler evening, low near 72, with light winds remaining for the next few days due to close proximity to a surface high. Cloud cover will remain scarce until we start seeing increased coverage around Sunday, which means showers and t-storms become more likely as well. Until then, you’ll see sunny, drier, and mostly clear days with daytime highs gradually approaching the mid 90s before starting a slow decline once the rain moves in. Long term tropical models are beginning to show interested in a possible system which could form in the Gulf, with a projected path bringing it very close to South MS. We will continue to monitor the potential development of this possible system.
