LUCEDALE, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Lucedale is giving a heads up over a scam going around.

The scam appears as an invoice from the city. The city wants to alert the public that Lucedale is not set up to send invoices with payment links.

If you receive an email like this, do not click on any links or make a payment.

Instead, you should delete the email immediately.
