Warm and mostly dry through Saturday, then changes early next week

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead

Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortable, with lows around 75 degrees. Saturday will be sunny and hot, with highs near 92. Winds will start from the northeast before turning south during the afternoon.

Sunday brings a little more humidity and a chance for rain. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs around 91 and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Most of the day should remain dry, but a few afternoon storms could develop.

The chance for showers and thunderstorms continues into Monday and Tuesday, mainly during the afternoon and early evening. Highs will remain around 90 to 91 degrees.

By the middle of next week, temperatures climb again. Highs could reach the low to mid-90s Wednesday through Friday, with only a slight chance of afternoon storms.
