08/06 Ryan’s “Fairly Average” Thursday Morning Forecast
Expect a beautiful, and thankfully fairly average summer day ahead in terms of heat and humidity.
Get ready for a fairly typical, average summer day for South Mississippi! That is most certainly not a bad thing, though it will still include some heat, humidity, and at least a few afternoon showers and storms. Today’s high of 91 will feel especially nice compared to where we were a week ago, which was exceptionally humid and with record temperatures. Today’s high is right where we should be for this time of year, while it is still pretty humid out there…so heat indices will still break 100°…barely. Today won’t be a “rainy” day, but we are going to see a few showers later on. Thunderstorms are possible as well, but they won’t be much in terms of strength or intensity. We’ll remain in this “average” pattern for the rest of the week, getting wetter as we begin the next.
