Water contact notice issued for three Coast beaches

As we get closer to another South Mississippi weekend, water contact advisories have been issued for three Coast beaches.

Those include Lakeshore Beach and Bay St. Louis Beach in Hancock County as well as Long Beach.

The beaches are not closed. However, there may be an increased risk of illness associated with swimming in these areas due to bacteria present in the water.
