06/22 Ryan’s “Much Drier” Monday Morning Forecast

We may have started the day off still cloudy, but things will be much drier this week!

We’re in for a much drier week ahead after last week’s historic rainfall, but even then we can’t rule out the chance of rain completely. Today is looking quite dry though, with mostly sunny skies for most of the day and a summertime high near 92. The humidity is still high and winds are light, so it’ll feel even warmer…as high as 105° on the coast later today. There aren’t any Heat Advisories for South MS yet, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see some issued later today and for the next few days as well. Even if they aren’t, that’s still hot enough to continue practicing heat safety, staying hydrated and avoiding our peak-heating afternoon hours. A stray sprinkle or two isn’t out of the question today, though chances are pretty low for now they will inch upwards for the middle of the week.
