Emergency Lane Closure on East Pass Road due to cave-in
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) — Drivers in Gulfport should expect delays along a portion of East Pass Road after an emergency lane closure was issued due to a road cave-in.
The interior westbound lane of East Pass Road between Lindh Road and Varnado Lane is currently closed while crews work to address the issue.
Officials say the outer westbound lane will remain open to help maintain traffic flow and reduce disruptions for nearby residents and businesses.
The closure is expected to remain in place until 3 p.m. on Friday, June 26, weather permitting.
City leaders are urging drivers to use caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted traffic signs and directions from crews on site.
