Ryan’s Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

We had another beautiful, but humid and hot day today, with temps climbing near 85 in some coastal locations. While the temperature hasn’t increased much over the last few days, the humidity has increased drastically, making it feel markedly more “uncomfortable” and sticky. Sadly, these trends continue as we head into Memorial Day weekend, and increase even further after that! Tonight though, expect increasing cloud cover and a warmer low, near 74, as we head into the overnight hours. Tomorrow (Thursday) will remain very similar to today, with mostly sunny skies, moderate humidity, and light winds from the SE. The clouds will continue to move in through the weekend so expect only partly sunny skies and a low chance of a few afternoon showers popping up randomly. Not much is expected out of these showers other than a few minutes of rain and an increase in humidity after the afternoon sun evaporates it. Things start clearing up a bit as we start of next week, but your Memorial Day high is expected to be right around 90, one of the hottest so far this year. Make sure to add plenty of hydration and shelter from the sun as you make your weekend plans! Today’s Hurricane preparedness tip is working on your evacuation plan.
