04/22 Ryan’s “Getting Humid” Wednesday Morning Forecast

We started off the week pleasant and dry, but now it's starting to get a little humid on us as we finish off the week.

This week started off with dewpoints in the upper 30s/low 40s after Sunday’s frontal passage, but now it’s getting noticeably more humid on us as the week goes on. Today’s dewpoints ranged from the low-to-upper 50s depending on your location, which is still “comfortable” by South Mississippi standards, but by the end of the day we’ll be firmly in the “humid” 60s. This increase will make our 79 degree high feel a little hotter, especially since our morning cloud cover will slowly give way to mostly sunny skies by then as well. It still won’t quite be “muggy” just yet, but dewpoints just keep climbing and will be near 70 by next week. Also, outside of a few sprinkles today, we’ll remain dry until spotty rain moves in again by the end of the week.
