04/16 Ryan’s “More Humid” Thursday Morning Forecast
Weather conditions haven't changed much over the last few days, but it's starting to get noticeably more humid.
Yesterday saw a little cloud cover move through our otherwise sunny skies, and today will see a little more on top of getting a little more humid. The humidity hasn’t risen dramatically, but dewpoints started in the mid-to-upper 50s across the area on Monday and have now risen into the upper 60s in our “wettest” coastal locations. That’s bordering on “muggy” territory instead of just “humid,” but the good news is drier air is on the way after a front moves through to start off next week. In the meantime we’ll continue inching up the thermometer and see largely sunny skies until the weekend.
Expect a high near 81° this afternoon along the coastline with inland areas climbing a bit higher past the mid 80s. Cloud cover will initially be around 50/50 (partly cloudy skies), but will slowly thin as we head into the evening leading to a degree or so of cooling for tomorrow morning’s low.
