Three people facing charges after contraband found in Pearl River County Correctional Facility

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, (WXXV)- Pearl River County authorities say three people are facing charges after contraband was brought into the county jail, in an investigation that began a month ago.
Pearl River County Sheriff’s investigators say the incident happened February 17 at the jail, during inmate visitation.
After the visit, correctional officers searched inmates and found 23-year-old Andrew Sellers in possession of contraband.
Detectives say their investigation revealed another inmate, 53-year-old Pharoah Lyons, also played a role in bringing the contraband in, along with a visitor, 41-year-old Kirby Haynes of Waveland.
Sellers and Lyons are both charged with introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
Haynes, who was arrested March 4 by Waveland Police on the same charge as Sellers and Lyons, is being held at the Pearl River County Jail.
