Ocean Springs School District announces new assistant superintendent

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Ocean Springs School District announced they have appointed Melissa Arnold as their next assistant superintendent.

She will begin her new role on July 1.

Previously, Arnold served as principal of Ocean Springs Middle School for four years.

Prior to that, she held several roles in her nine years of service at Ocean Springs High School including assistant principal and testing coordinator.

Arnold will oversee curriculum and instruction initiatives as well as overall academic performance.
