Harlem Wizards get students hype for game day

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- On Friday, the Harlem Wizards brought high energy to schools in Jackson County ahead of their big Valentine’s Day showdown.

The team traveled from school to school, hyping up students for Saturday’s game.

They played interactive games with kids, shared inspiring stories, and handed out free tickets to pack the stands.

The players also took time to offer advice, encouraging students to stay focused, make smart choices, and keep moving in a positive direction.

The Wizards say the energy they saw at Gautier Middle School is exactly what they hope to see in the stands Saturday night.
