Scams claiming to be law enforcement in Pass Christian

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WXXV)- There’s a scam going around Pass Christian. Citizens are receiving calls from scammers posing as Pass Christian police officers, saying they have outstanding warrants, fines, or other legal matters.

They then request money, gift cards, wire transfers, and bitcoin for payment.

Scammers are using threats, spoofed phone numbers, and claim to be law enforcement.
