Rep. Mike Ezell recognized as 2026 Heritage Champion

Representative Mike Ezell has been honored as a 2026 Heritage Champion for the Alliance of National Heritage Areas.

Ezell was presented the award by Gulf Coast Heritage Area’s Director Rhonda Price.

Ezell was recognized for going above and beyond in support of the group’s mission. His recent work helped secure federal funding during a year of delays.

He is also seen as a strong advocate for preserving the Coast’s history, culture, and communities.
