City of Long Beach announces new animal control officer

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Long Beach is welcoming a new animal control officer into their ranks.

Meet Kelly Mears. The Long Beach police say Mears is currently spending time getting familiar with the area and learning the department procedures.

The department says they are thrilled to have her on board and appreciate the patience as she settles into her new role.
