January’s Huntington Learning Center Teacher of the Month: North Gulfport Elementary’s Drapundra Anderson

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) — Each month, WXXV and Huntington Learning Center team up to honor one outstanding educator in South Mississippi.

January’s Teacher of the Month is Drapundra Anderson, a second grade teacher at North Gulfport Elementary School! She is dedicated to her students and is well-loved by each and every grade at the school.

Anderson was nominated by Edna Curry.

“[She] makes learning fun, loves children, goes beyond the call of duty,” Curry wrote in her nomination.
