Deadline approaching for MEMA safe room grants

You only have a few days left to apply for MEMA’s residential safe room grant program.

The program provides up to $3,500 to help Mississippians build a FEMA-complaint safe room/ storm shelter on their property.

There are 38 grants available per county, and the deadline to apply is November 30.
