Sandyman is back on the beach in Pass Christian

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WXXV)- A favorite Coast holiday tradition is back on the beach in Pass Christian.

Crews spent time rebuilding the iconic Sandyman near Scenic Drive and Highway 90. Firefighters with Pass Christian Fire Department teamed up with Mary Bourdin and Harrison County Sand Beach Authority to pile and soak the sand so he will hold his shape all season long.

What started years ago has grown into a beloved Coast tradition in the Pass, becoming a familiar sight for drivers along Highway 90 during the holidays.
