11/18 Ryan’s “First Foggy, then Humid” Tuesday Morning Forecast

Expect to wake to foggy conditions like we saw this morning for the rest of the week, but things clear out soon after that.

We’ve been on the edge of some foggy weather for the last few days, but earlier today visibility became an issue as Dense Fog formed over South MS. Our very light southerly winds kept foggy conditions from developing in most coastal areas, but inland counties and cities were a little calmer, cooler, and thus saw thicker development. I expect foggy mornings for the rest of the week, until and potentially over the weekend as well as similar conditions linger. We’ll continue to slowly warm for both our morning lows and afternoon highs until Friday, when rain moves in to cool things down a few degrees. I’m only expecting a upwards of scattered showers and thunderstorms for the afternoon and evening, with little-to-no chance of severe weather at this time. Showers will likely pop up again Saturday morning, but will end shortly after as the front passes through.
