City of Gulfport issues scam invoice alert

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Gulfport Mayor’s Office has released a scam invoice alert.

They have been notified of a scam targeting contractors and developers in the area. Gulfport warns that if you receive suspicious emails, phone calls, or messages claiming to be with the City of Gulfport to please use caution.

If you are unsure about the communication you’ve received, contact the Urban Development Office before responding.
