190 participants complete education program through MDOC

The Mississippi Department of Corrections shared an update for inmates taking part in an education program.

More than 190 participants from the Central Mississippi Correction Facility in Pearl completed GED, re-entry, or vocational classes.

In total, 259 certificates were given out.

Department of Corrections officials say their accomplishment is recognized.

Those officials stated that these accomplishments demonstrate the change that is possible when people commit to self-improvement.
